Sierre de la Sagra.
We've found an amazing location off the beaten track in the magnificent, protected countryside of Andalusia. And what's more, it's ecologically self-sustaining! We couldn't have found a more perfect spot to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world in which we live. Back to basics and ultimately to your true self.
With The Nature Escape, we're aiming to create something unique and after years of searching we stumbled upon the hamlet Cortijos Nuevos de la Sierra at the foot of the imposing mountain La Sagra. This magnificent mountain region borders the famous Sierras de Cazorla Nature Park, which is part of the European Natura 2000 network of protected nature reserves throughout EU member states.
The network forms a cornerstone of the EU's conservation and biodiversity policies designed to protect not only biotopes, but also numerous species of flora and fauna and their habitats. Here, you'll find a variety of rare flowers including orchids and countless other inhabitants including wild boar, deer, foxes and a plethora of different birds such as vultures, eagles, spotted woodpeckers, golden orioles and hoopoes.

Cortijos Nuevos de la Sierra is only a twenty‑minute drive from the small town of Puebla de Don Fadrique and approximately twenty‑six kilometers (16 miles) from the larger town of Huéscar. Alicante and Malaga airports are about a two-hour drive away.
