The Nature Escape is our ultimate hideaway to be completely thrown back on ourselves. It’s our external creative hub next to our Dutch based design studio. During the periods that we stay in Spain, you are more than welcome as a guest. You’ll stay in either our spacious guest accommodation or in one of our bell tents.

The bell tent was developed in the 19th century as a durable and practical solution for the army. Its thick canvas is a natural, breathable material that is also wind- and waterproof, making it ideal for all weather conditions. Our tents measure about 5 m (16 ft) in diameter, reaching a height of about 3 m (10 ft) at their peak.

The tent serves as your ‘base camp’, equipped with the bare essentials, primitive, but pleasant. Tents have comfy mattresses and bed linen and natural furnishings. Washing facilities are available in the main building La Escuela. We’ve pitched the tents on our grounds, covering almost a hectare (2½ acres), so that you’re assured of privacy and space all around. From your tent, you’ll have marvelous views of the valley and the mountains in the distance. You’ll feel as though you’re alone in the world, surrounded by the magnificent countryside and the creatures that inhabit it. Nowhere are the nights as clear as they are here, revealing a spectacular night sky each and every night. It’s no surprise that the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalusia built one of its observatories here – you can even go take a peak yourself if you’d like!
